Reflection

This school year was a very exciting and challenging year for me. From taking a higher leadership role in ROTC to taking AP Language. Before i ever considered participating in AP Language, I use to hear the juniors  discuss to each other about how hard AP was and how much work you had to do in order to succeed in AP. At the end of my sophomore year, I was given the opportunity to enroll in AP Language. The juniors advised me not to take it, but I had to see for myself, not to mention I love challenges. My first week in AP, I was ready to get out, I thought it was too much of a challenge for me. I went home and talked to my mother about it, and she told me not to give up so easily. I still had a little pondering to do, but i had made my decision by the time the second week had approached. I decided to stay around and to accept the challenge, I knew it wasn't going to be an easy journey. After a while, I adjusted to the way AP works. The class was becoming interesting and fundamental because I was surrounded around all my friends and a great teacher. Mrs. Day was the best teacher I had this year. She assigned us some  interesting books to read, such as invisible man & animal farm. Those books was the best and I think she should continue to make her classes read them. There's not really much a great teacher need to change, but the only thing Mrs. Day need to do for her future class is to give syllabus to her students through out the year. This year a lot of my work was late because i always forgot what was due on what day, and a syllabus would have been been beneficial to me. Other than that, Mrs.Day did an outstanding job this year. The pieces we read was A-1, such as "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" and " Why I want a Wife" etc. Mrs.Day was an awesome teacher and I can't wait to see what she has plan for her AP Literature class next year. This year was an awesome school year because i had one of the best teachers.
